As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for learning and assisting in the implementation of quality control processes and procedures within an organization. You will work under the guidance of experienced quality engineers to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in quality assurance and quality control methodologies. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and prepare you for a successful career as a Quality Engineer.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the organization’s quality policies, standards, and procedures.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control processes, including inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality documentation.
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, engineering, and procurement, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify the underlying causes of quality non-conformances and develop appropriate solutions.
- Assist in the development and execution of quality audits to assess compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
- Support the development and improvement of quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track quality performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and drive operational excellence.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance to contribute to the improvement of quality systems and processes.
- Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey quality-related information.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment, adapt to changing priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in the field of quality engineering.
- 1 – 2 Years of relevant Experience.
- Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
